Where is the wedding being held?Where is the wedding being held?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Lord Thompson Manor - 351 Thompson Rd, Thompson, CT 06277. Lord Thompson Manor is located on a 40 acre country estate. The ceremony will be held outside in the side garden (weather permitting) and the reception will be in the dining rooms and conservatory. Please see the “travel” tab for more information regarding recommended accommodations, travel, and things to do in the area. We have secured a few hotel blocks for those needing accommodations. Hotel blocks are limited and are first come, first served.

Answer

You can RSVP on this wedding website. Please look at the “wedding" tab and click the “RSVP” button on that page. All responses must be made by April 11, 2025 or you will be marked as not attending. The venue has limited capacity so we cannot accommodate late RSVPs after this date.

Answer

Due to limited space, we will mark you as “not attending”. We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. There will be no available seating, food or drink accommodations for you as we have limited capacity.

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please fill out the RSVP form and indicate your regrets on our “RSVP” so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “attending” but find that you will not make, please let Katie know as soon as possible. Please text Katie at 646.283.7443.

Answer

We’d love to include everyone, but due to limited venue capacity and budget, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family due to limited venue capacity. Additionally, our venue does not allow children without a designated and hired babysitter organized through the venue. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

The ceremony will be held outside in the side garden (weather permitting) and the reception will be in the dining rooms and conservatory. Lawn games will be available for use.

Yes! Both will take place at Lord Thompson Manor located in Thompson, CT. We are doing a first look, so we will be taking photos with the immediate family before the actual ceremony and cocktail hour/reception. We want to take part in the fun with our loved ones after the ceremony!

Valet parking is available at Lord Thompson Manor. You are free to park at the venue and pick your car up in the morning, if you are unable to drive.

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed for our big day! The dress code is cocktail attire. Please avoid wearing any shade of white, ivory, cream or beige and let the bride have her day. The bridal party will be wearing terracotta. No jeans please!

Answer

Please arrive to the venue by 4:30pm to ensure that you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle in. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm.

Answer

We are having an “unplugged wedding ceremony” meaning no phones or cameras during the actual ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share photos as soon as we receive them. AFTER the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!
