Is there a dress code?
Answer
Please wear whatever you are comfortable getting on the dance floor in! Please note the ceremony will be held on grass so wear appropriate footwear. We ask that guests avoid the colors of the bridal party, shades of white, wine and dusty rose, thank you!

Are children included in the invitation?
Answer
Please reference your invitation for who is included. We have decided to have only immediate family members children at the ceremony and reception. We’d love everyone to enjoy a night out! Please reach out if you need a recommendation for a local babysitter.

Will there be a bar onsite?

There will be a cash bar at the American Legion.

Where can we find your registry?
Answer
We are lucky to have our basic wants and needs met. Our current goal is to save money for a down payment on a house. If you would like to leave a gift, we will have a card box at the ceremony or there is a link under our wedding website. All that is needed for our day is your presence to help us celebrate!

What type of food will be served?
Answer
There will be appetizers served at the legion following the ceremony. Pizza and salad will be our main course, with dessert to follow. We will provide a gluten free option as well.

Where is the ceremony located?
Answer
The ceremony will be held at Sentinel State Park in Westmore VT. If traveling from Island Pond, it will be the grassy picnic area immediately AFTER the large boulder, on the right.

Parking, seating, and restrooms at the ceremony
Answer
Parking at the ceremony site will be very limited, please carpool from the legion as much as possible. We will not be having seating or a restroom available at the ceremony, it will be short, we promise! If necessary, guests may bring a camping chair with them to ensure they will be comfortable.

What time should guests arrive?
Answer
We ask that everyone arrive by 3:45 to ensure time for parking and walking over to the ceremony spot. There will be an arch set up, please make yourselves comfortable on either side.

Will there be transportation available?
Answer
Island Pond is a small town without conveniences like Uber, but we will have someone available to give rides home around town as the night winds down. Guests can leave their car at the Legion and collect in the morning. Please note there is an event the next day so please collect vehicles Sunday morning.
