It's finally happening!

At the end of 2018 Katie took the advice of a good friend and did a trial run of Match.com. Allen was one of the very first guys she found and they started texting and catching up on each other's lives since their high school days. Soon thereafter they had a first date, followed by several more and then a whirlwind trip to Washington DC. Allen proposed on March 22, 2019 after proclaiming his love to Katie's children and asking for their approval. Katie roped Allen into completing a 1/2 marathon, the Burlington Marathon, Boston Tough Mudder, and several 5k races during their first few months together. They've traveled to DC, Boston, Rhode Island, Hampton Beach, Old Orchard, and two Caribbean cruises.
