Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If you are in town, we would love to celebrate with you at our Welcome Party from 7-9 PM on Friday, June 20th at Mine Oyster, 16 Warf Street, Boothbay Harbor!

Will there be parking?

Answer

There is no parking at the venue for guests, but there is parking in nearby, walkable public lots. We will have coordinated transportation from various pick-up locations, including the following: The Tugboat Inn (80 Commercial St, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538) The Red Cup Cafe in downtown Boothbay Harbor The Meadow Mall (185 Townsend Ave, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538) for those parking their cars. You may park your car for the evening there and take a return shuttle in the evening. This shuttle service will run on a continuous loop starting at 3:00 PM, with the final ride arriving at 4:05 PM prior to the 4:15 ceremony. In the evening, the shuttle will take return trips from 8:30-10:30. If you are staying elsewhere and need transportation, please contact Lesley Sprague (mother of the bride) at 207-458-0770. I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Katie has food allergies, so we are very sensitive to allergies! Please let us know and we will coordinate with our caterer to ensure that you are taken care of.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no formal dress code, but we would love to see you dressed up! We recommend semi-formal attire (cocktail dresses, suits, etc.). Shoes: The venue is on a working dock, so pointy heels may stick between planks of wood. Chunky heels or flats are recommended!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive with time to be seated prior to the ceremony, which will begin at 4:15.

What is the dress code for the night before?

Answer

Semi-formal / cocktail attire is preferred, but please wear what you feel most comfortable in!

Will there be an after party?

Answer

If you would like to join us, we will be headed to Mine Oyster after the reception concludes. Mine Oyster is open until 1 AM.
