Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, however we cannot have them at our wedding as Broadturn is a working farm and could be dangerous for them. We appreciate your understanding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

This is one we are very familiar with. Please let one of us know as soon as possible if you have any true food allergies or sensitivities so that we can let our caterer know.

What will the dinner situation be?

Answer

We plan on having apps at cocktail hour followed by a family style sit down dinner.

We will be providing beer and wine.

Can I leave my car overnight if necessary?

Absolutely! Nobody wants you to drive if you've had too much to drink.

What should I wear?

Answer

Everyone knows this is Katie's favorite question for any event. Plan for cocktail attire. Fall in Maine can be warm but can also be cool especially at night. Because it's New England and the weather changes frequently, there is no way to predict. Please check the weather forecast in the week leading up to the wedding and maybe bring a layer. A lot of the wedding will be outside on grass so please plan your footwear accordingly.

Our ceremony will be outside, dinner will be under a tent, and dancing will be in the barn.
