When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 10th.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 2:15 to allow time to park and find your seat before the ceremony begins.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that you wear cocktail attire: For women: A cocktail dress, midi dress, or dressy jumpsuit with heels, dressy flats, or elegant sandals For men: A suit and dress shirt, with tie recommended and dress shoes

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Buses will be available to bring guests from the Tidewater, Holiday, and Quality Inns to the church, the church to the reception, and the reception back to the hotels.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Saints Peter & Paul and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum both have parking lots. You’re welcome to leave your car overnight in the museum lot if needed.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love little ones, but aside from those in the wedding party, this is an adults-only evening.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour are indoors, and the reception is outdoors under a tent. The outdoor grounds of the museum will be open for exploring during the cocktail hour and reception as well.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We reserved a few hotel blocks for our guests; however, due to an Ironman event happening the same weekend, hotel space was limited and many of our blocks are now full. We've listed a few hotels that may still have rooms on our Travel page, and we also suggest checking Airbnb or other lodging platforms for additional options. If you have any trouble finding a place to stay, feel free to reach out—we’ll do our best to help!
