We're Getting Married!

When I first arrived in Sydney to play water polo, my mom had only one request: "Just don’t meet a boy while you’re abroad." She said it half-jokingly, but I knew she meant it. She wanted me to soak in the experience, and return home with only memories—not a romance. During my second season playing in Australia, I met Reuben. At first, I was just excited to have someone to explore Sydney with, but over time, the thought of leaving him and returning home became harder and harder. Then, as fate would have it, the global pandemic hit, giving me an unexpected reason to stay in Australia a little longer. As the months passed, it became clear that our connection was something special—something worth pursuing. We spent countless weekends exploring the coastline of NSW, with Reuben turning me into a Broncos and rugby fan while I introduced him to the world of water polo. Our shared love for the beach led us to take a leap of faith and move in together in Bondi Beach, and we haven’t looked back since. In December 2024, Reuben proposed on the cliffs of Bondi, overlooking the beach where we've spent so many unforgettable moments. Now, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you in Hawaii!
