This will be a backyard cookout kind of vibe. It will be catered with typical cookout foods, such as burgers, hot dogs, chips and dips, etc.

To get to the overlook, there is a short nature walk leading there. It is incredibly beautiful, but the walk is somewhat rocky with roots along the way. Please be conscious of this when choosing your outfits (especially shoes!).
Our ceremony will take place at a secret overlook in the park. It is so beautiful; we can't wait for y'all to see it! Please keep in mind that the nature walk to the overlook is somewhat rocky with roots throughout, so dress accordingly (especially shoes). The weather is a little unpredictable in Tennessee at this time of year, so be prepared for hot or chilly. There is seating for around 50 guests, so we should fit perfectly. In the case that we are a bit squished, however, we may ask a few guests to utilize the standing room behind the benches. The ceremony should only last 30-45 minutes.

Reception

Cocktail hour and the reception will take place at the Recreation Hall in the park. This is located a short drive from the ceremony overlook. We will be providing a couple of large vans to shuttle everyone where they need to be throughout the day. We are so lucky to have access to so much of the park on our special day! Dinner will be a barbecue dinner with all the fixins'. It will be buffet style, so everyone can pick what they want, and open seating so that everyone can roam and get to know each other. So many special people in our lives coming together at one time, it's going to be amazing! We will likely eat around 5-5:30 so that we have time for toasts and visiting. There will be an open bar with wine, beer, seltzer, and non-alcoholic options. Our amazing friend Ashton will be there to help you :) we love her. We will wrap up our amazing day around 9:30 to allow time for cleanup.
