Denver Museum of Nature & Science

Red Rocks Hikes and Bike Rides

1103 County Highway 93, Golden, CO 80401

Parking for the Matthew/ Winter Park Jefferson County Park. See the beautiful red rocks on fun trails to hike or bike.

Dinosaur Ridge Main Visitor Center

16831 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465

This is a pretty steep walk or bike ride to see the site of where fossils were found. Fossils are now located in the Morrison Natural History Museum. There is also a guided bus tour. Please see their website for more information.

Mary Jane(Winter Park), Copper, Breckenridge and Arapaho Basin are all usually open this time of year.

Juniper Pass Overlook

Denver Zoo

This is an 80 acre zoo with 2500+ animals acting as ambassadors for their wildlife counterparts.

Chatfield State Park
