Weather
Answer
Mid-May in Mazama is beautiful, but still in the mountains. -Expect daytime temps to be 55-70 degrees -Evening can drop down to 35-40 degrees -The chance of rain is slight, but it is Washington Weather and fire ban level permitting, we will have a bonfire in the evening.

What should I pack

Layers, comfortable shoes, warm jacket for the evening, sunglasses, bathing suit (hot tub on-site), and event attire.

Do I need a rental car
Answer
Depends. For out-of-town guests who'd like to rent a car, we've added a link to rental car services. We have a lot of family and friends in the area and can communicate about carpooling and shuttling. Reach out to Haden or Katie if you're interested in setting up a carpool/shuttle instead of renting a car.

Throughout the weekend, there will be activities on and off the property! The lodge offers a pool, hot tub, a lake for paddleboarding, corn hole, hiking trails, and much more.

Stores and restaurants near by
Answer
The closest towns to Mazama are Winthrop and Twisp. Both offer small town stores with relatively limited items. Both have great local restaurants and pubs.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Answer
Yes. The ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an outside/inside reception. The dining area will be on the patio, which will be covered and heated if need be. The indoor section holds the bar and dance floor. The area is close together, with no long-distance walking.

How do I book a room on site
Answer
For guests wanting to join for the weekend of celebration (2 nights). Either use the link below or call the front desk number. All guests who wish to stay for 1 night or more than 2 nights must call the front desk to make a reservation. The venue recommends that guests who are not booking within the wedding block call to make a reservation as soon as possible. All rooms and cabins will receive a discounted rate.
