Gentlemen, please wear a suit (ties, bow-ties, and suspenders are all very welcome). Ladies, think “New Years Eve” - sparkles are encouraged! Please enjoy this opportunity to wear the formal "glam" outfit you've been craving to have an occasion for (aside from white). Heck, give your old prom dress another whirl! Please note: The bridesmaids will be wearing full-length dark "pine" green dresses. Coat racks will be available for all guests. All sidewalks will be salted. Don't forget your dancing shoes!
Beer, wine, pop, water, hot chocolate, and coffee will be available free of charge throughout the entire reception. Rail drinks are on the house through cocktail hour and will be available for purchase after dinner. *** Remember that overnight parking in Shakopee is allowed. We will have a shuttle running to the hotel from 8pm to 12am for anyone who needs it. Please prioritize safety and wise choices! ***
We are passionate about keeping those we love well-fed! There will be pre-ceremony snacks available at the church. Appetizers and snacks during cocktail hour. For dinner, a buffet with hearty meat, as well as vegetarian and gluten free options. Cake for dessert (GF available) Munchies throughout the reception. And late night pizza!
Aside from our immediate nieces and nephews, we are having an adults-only event. However, if you are traveling from out of state and this is the main barrier for you being able to come, please reach out to us!
Ceremony: Prairie Community Church has a large parking lot connected to the church. Reception: After the ceremony, please make your way to downtown Shakopee. Location: Turtle’s 1890 Social Centre Address 112 Lewis St S, Shakopee, MN 55379 Parking: There is a large parking lot on Lewis Street that is across the street from the entrance to the reception. Overflow parking can be found further down Lewis Street across the railroad tracks by Pablo's Mexican Restaurant. Reminder: Overnight parking is allowed in Shakopee LOTS (not street parking) and we ask that you please prioritize safety. We also have a shuttle running to the hotel from 8pm-12am.
