This is about 45 minute drive from the Frankfort and provides easy access to lots of entertainment and dining in the Louisville area. This is probably the best option for those of you staying in Louisville rather than at the Fairfield.
Travel Note
This is a good list of important landmarks/ famous restaurants in Louisville, but it is by no means extensive! We highly recommend walking over the Big Four Bridge and grabbing a bite at the Red Yetti on the Indiana side of the river! The culinary scene in Louisville is huge so almost any place you walk into will be amazing, but please ask for recommendations!

This is the closest airport to the hotel we have reserved. I cannot speak to wether it will be cheaper or more expensive than Cincinnati or Louisville, but it will be more convenient. Plus you will have a gorgeous drive down Versailles road and be very close to all downtown Lexington has to offer
Travel Note
Here are some options for touring Lexington, KY. Keeneland is a must see even if you just drive the grounds. Though the last day of racing is October 27th, stock sales will be in full swing from November 5th through 16th. Ask for more recommendations!
Flight
This is about a 45 minute drive to Frankfort and is typically cheaper than the Louisville Airport. Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations on what to do or where to stay if this is where you choose to fly into.
Travel Note
Even if you can't do the whole Bourbon Trail (I recommend you break it up into two days unless you want to go hard), you should do at least one tour. Woodford Reserve is delightful and very close to the Fairfield and downtown Lexington. Makers Mark is beautiful and you get to dip your own bottle at the end!

We have a block of rooms reserved for the Gagnon - Easton Wedding, reservations must be made by phone. There are a couple other options in the immediate vicinity, but this is by far the nicest accommodations close to the venue.
