We're getting married!

It all started in high school, where fate (and a little bit of robotics) brought us together. In our small town of Warden, what began as casual conversations quickly turned into movie nights, long drives, and countless little moments that made us realize we had something special.

After high school, we packed up and moved to Cheney, WA, ready to take on our first big adventure together—college. Between late-night study sessions, exploring a new city, and trying new things like rock climbing, we learned not just about the world, but about each other. Late-night runs to Zips became our tradition, and getting our first apartment together was a milestone we’ll never forget. Through every exam, every challenge, and every triumph, we supported each other, pushing one another toward our dreams.

After college, life took us in different directions—Katie to Vancouver for her graduate degree in school psychology, and Cesar to Spokane to begin his career as a software engineer. It was one of the hardest years we faced, but our love never wavered. Through countless calls, weekend visits, and the unwavering belief that we were meant to be, we made it through. Every mile between us only strengthened our bond, and when the time finally came to be together again, we knew this was just the beginning of something even greater.

After everything we had been through together—the adventures, the challenges, and the incredible love that only grew stronger—Cesar knew one thing for certain: he couldn’t wait any longer to make Katie his wife. "I had waited long enough. She was the love of my life, and I wanted to spend forever with her." On 11-11-23, with full hearts and endless excitement for the future, we took the next step in our journey. Now, as we start this new chapter together, we can’t wait for all the love, laughter, and adventures still to come.
