Are kids invited?

Answer

Newborns (under 1) and children ages 8 and up are warmly welcome to join us. While we adore your little ones, we kindly ask that children between the ages of 1 and 7 sit this one out. We’re planning an adults-leaning celebration and hope you enjoy a fun time out.

Do you have a hotel blocked for the wedding?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block reserved. There are several great hotel and AirBNB options nearby, and we encourage you to book early to secure your preferred stay.

What is the dress code?

Funky Formal - dress to impress, but make it fun. What does “funky formal” mean? It’s a formal or cocktail-level outfit with a fun twist. We encourage bold choices, unique details, and expressive style while still looking polished. What colors should I wear? Bright, bold spring colors are encouraged! Think florals, vibrant hues, pastels, and playful patterns.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive at least 20–30 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to park and find your seat.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is a dedicated parking lot right next to Aspen Hall. Parking is free. Please note, the park is open to the public, and the lot may be shared with other visitors. We recommend arriving a bit early to allow time for parking and a short walk to Aspen Hall.

Will it be hot or cold?

Answer

Late May in Bend can be sunny and warm during the day but cool in the evening. Layers are your best friend in the high desert :)

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation. Rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are available in Bend, but we recommend planning ahead as Shevlin Park is slightly outside downtown.
