If you are on the East Coast, we highly recommend taking Amtrak to Union Station - so you can arrive in the heart of downtown. Ronald Regan National Airport is the closest place to fly into D.C., however, you may also fly into Dulles International Airport, which is about 40 minutes out of the city.
