Suggested Attire: 14th Century Medieval. Nobels, Lords and Ladies, Peasants also welcome
Expect a reverent atmosphere with lots of standing, incense, icons, and chanting, where people make the sign of the cross, bow, and venerate (kiss) icons. The wedding ceremony is a symbolic sacrament with two parts: the Betrothal (ring exchange) and the Crowning, where the couple wears ornate crowns symbolizing their royal status as king and queen of their household. Key rituals include holding lit candles, sharing from the Common Cup, and a joyful Procession (Dance of Isaiah) around a table, representing their first steps as a unified household, with no spoken vows from the couple, only blessings. The ceremony will be a church service, so there may be other members of the parish there.
