Michael first gave me his phone number in October of 2015 to remind him to study for a test. (Lucky for him, I’m a nerd and would have felt bad if I forgot.) At first we pursued a friendship before dating. Come the new year, Michael asked my father if we could date. On the January 27th, Michael asked me to be his girlfriend which I gleefully accepted.

On a gloomy October day, Michael surprised me by driving us out to the White River Lighthouse. I had ideas about what he was planning, but it was still a surprise when he bent down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! Which if you haven’t noticed, I of course said yes!

Our big day will be shared with you all at 11 am in the Calvary Christian Reformed Church on Byron Center Avenue in Wyoming, MI Mike and I look forward to celebrating this major step in our lives together with you!
