FAQs

We know that a destination wedding makes things a little bit more complicated so let us know if there are any questions we can help you answer. We tried to get a head of a few here...
Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! You will need a valid passport to be able to travel to Mexico. Thankfully Mexico is a little more lenient with passport expiration dates so your passport only needs to be valid until the time you return home. So, for example, if you are traveling January 25 - 29, your passport needs to be valid through at least January 30. We would recommend allowing a few days buffer just in case.

Question

Can I book my room directly through the hotel website?

Answer

We have secured a discounted rate with the hotel which is why we ask that you book your room through the link provided on the Travel page of our website. This is the best price and ensures that our guests are guaranteed rooms.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love all of your kiddos, all wedding events are kid-free. However, we understand that many of you are new parents and leaving babies alone to fend for themselves isn't really kosher (so we've been told). So, if you need to bring down a nanny or a grandparent to watch your baby throughout the weekend, there are extra rooms available to rent.

Question

What is my travel day going to look like?

Answer

Many US cities and most airlines have direct flights into Cancun. We will send through information on how to book a shuttle from the Cancun airport to the hotel. It is roughly a 40 minute drive. There are private cars, private vans and group vans all available for different prices points. They will also schedule your return ride.
