Things To Do
From Saturday afternoon until Tuesday morning, we have reserved the entire Pamplin Grove County Park. You are welcome to come just for the wedding, or camp out with us.
Swimming or Hiking
The Van Duzen River is just perfect for swimming with a slow current, and deep sandy pools. Bring a suit, sunscreen, and river shoes for the rocky riverbank. Or go for a hike downstream and back. This section of river cuts through a series of parks and public lands.
Games
In the main field, you'll find horseshoes, croquet, volleyball / badminton, cornhole (beanbag toss), and table games.
Campfires
In addition to the small fire pits at each camp site, there is a large pit near the cook house where folks will gather in the evenings to hang out and make music. Bring an instrument to play or share.
Relax
Bring your favorite camping chair, and just kick it in the sun or under the ancient trees.
