We recommend My Place Hotel-Randolph, VT, located just a short drive from the venue. There are also several vacation rentals available throughout the area, but we recommend booking accommodations early. Rural Vermont has limited lodging options, and nearby hotels and rentals tend to fill up quickly—especially during the summer months.
Semi-formal attire. Our wedding will be outdoors in Vermont in June, so please plan for grass, uneven ground, and New England weather. Temperatures can range from cool evenings to warm afternoons.
We recommend arriving 30+ minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and finding your seat. There will also be refreshments provided before we begin.
Yes! Both the ceremony and portions of the celebration will be outdoors. Please dress accordingly. We do have a backup plan for rain, where the ceremony would move indoors.
Transportation will not be provided, so please plan to drive or arrange rides accordingly. Please plan to have a designated driver or arrange transportation if you plan to enjoy the bar. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft can be limited in rural Vermont, especially late at night.
We wish we could invite everyone! Because of space limitations, plus ones will be extended to select guests and will be noted on your invitation and RSVP. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
While our wedding is primarily intended for adults, we understand that childcare isn't always easy to arrange. If finding childcare would prevent you from attending, please don't let that stop you—we would be happy to welcome your children. We will not be providing on-site childcare or babysitting services, so parents should plan accordingly.
Yes, there is plenty of parking on site.
We're planning a BBQ-style buffet to match the relaxed backyard and barn wedding atmosphere. Dinner, dessert, and drinks will all be provided, and we can't wait to share some of our favorite comfort foods with you as we celebrate! Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
