The San Jose International Airport is the closest major airport, located about 1-1.5 hours north. Most guests choose to fly into this airport and rent a car and drive south. Almost all major airlines and destinations fly into this airport.

There is a regional airport in Monterey (MRY) that has daily flights from several large destinations including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, and Seattle. The major airlines that operate out of Monterey are United, American, Allegiant, Alaska, and JSX. It is the easiest location to fly into if you do not want to rent a car for the weekend since getting around by foot or uber is very easy in the area. There are also several major car rental companies that operate out of MRY.
