High's Cafe & Store

If you like tacos, eat here. The outdoor patio is great, and the food is delicious.

Tubby's Ice House

This place has some of the best hamburgers. The floor is a little greasy, and the beverages are serve-yourself, but this casual burger joint is a cultural experience.

Alamo Springs Café

With retro decor and a homey feel, this counter-serve ice cream and dessert shop is worth every calorie. We love the ice cream, but the bread pudding is also very tasty.

Clear River Ice Cream, Bakery & Deli

This area of Texas contains a plethora of wineries, and Bending Branch is one of our favorites to visit.

Bending Branch Winery

Comfort is full of antique stores, and this one has a nice feel with the added bonus of a coffee bar.

The 8th Street Market

For those who are historically inclined, this museum is a good one.
