The week after the wedding is the week leading up to the Kentucky Derby, there will be plenty of activities in the city, including the steamboat races, hot air balloon races, the downtown party each night called the Chow Wagon with live music as well. Go to https://kdf.org/ for more info.
The camp offers some cabins and camp sites for military personnel (most of these are taken), there are hotels near Ft Knox or if you want to stay in more luxury accommodations, I would recommend you stay in the city of Louisville. The Omni, The Brown Hotel, The Galt House, Marriott and other chain hotels are available. The drive from downtown will take about 45 minutes.
Yes, we have an awesome caterer that will both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food served.
Yes, we will have some wine and beer available, but no bartender. You can bring your favorite liquor to the reception.
The wedding will start at 5pm ET. We will set up some drinks to have prior and during the wedding in the gazebo starting at 430p. Feel free to bring your glass to the ceremony.
We really are not expecting gifts, having you enjoy the wedding with us is considered the best gift ever.
YES, a DJ will host the wedding, so plan on wearing comfortable shoes.

We will be taking a cruise to Alaska but not for a couple of weeks after the wedding, we want to enjoy Derby week in Louisville and have extra time with friends and family that will be coming for the wedding.
