We met at our church when Rob came to sing a few Christmas songs for the grief support group Kathy co-leads. Rob has been the Contemporary Choir Director for 34 years and is known for his beautiful voice. We suspect Kathy's group co-leader was doing a little matchmaking as his wife is in Rob's choir. We did hit it off during this Christmas gathering. Rob had an outdoor concert the next weekend and he invited the whole grief group to attend. Kathy enjoyed the concert with a few other grief group members. Our first date was lunch at Rob's house right after Christmas. We sat, talked, and laughed for almost 5 hours! Two days later at church Rob asked Kathy to come over for dinner that night or the next night. Surprising herself, Kathy said both. We've been talking and laughing ever since!
