It was sophomore year of high school when Kathy’s friend Cory introduced her to the new guy in the neighborhood. Nick arrived in ripped up jeans, a backwards baseball cap, with curly hair and a huge smile - Kathy fell for him at first sight. On April 5th 2008, the pair made it official and these high school sweethearts have been inseparable ever since. From homecoming, 2 hour phone calls (after 9 o'clock for free minutes of course), hockey varsity jackets, singing to country radio, slow dancing in parking lots, senior prom, and saving every single love song onto Kathy's pink Ipod to play for Nick on the long drive home; to growing up together, celebrating new journeys and embracing new adventures. There isn’t a memory without these two in it ❤️

On their 11 year anniversary, Nick surprised Kathy with something on her bucket list - a hot air balloon ride!! As if proposing wasn't as nerve racking enough, the two put an offer in for their first house the same weekend (poor Nick!) Soaring over Lancaster county, Nick got down on one knee, asking Kathy to start a new adventure with him with the most beautiful ring. Of course she said YES! It was the perfect start to a new adventure together!
