Just minutes from Estes Park, RMNP is a must-see: Trail Ridge Road (seasonal) – A stunning drive across the Continental Divide. Bear Lake or Emerald Lake hikes – Easy to moderate trails with incredible views. Wildlife watching – Keep an eye out for elk, moose, and marmots!
If you’re spending time in the city before heading to the mountains: Downtown & RiNo – Great restaurants, breweries, and street art. Red Rocks Amphitheatre – Iconic views and hiking trails, plus the absolute best concert venue. If you’re arriving a few days early, catch Grupo Frontera on August 21st or Reggae On The Rocks August 22nd! Denver Botanic Gardens or Union Station – Perfect for a relaxed afternoon.
Once you’re up in Estes: Downtown Estes Park – Cute shops, local ice cream, and a stroll along the riverwalk. The Stanley Hotel – Historic landmark with tours and gorgeous mountain views. Estes Park Aerial Tramway – Ride to the top of Prospect Mountain for sweeping scenery.
Golden is where we had our first date in Colorado and the place we now happily call home.
