You're already married - so what wedding date are you celebrating as your anniversary?

Answer

Though we are delighted to be able to celebrate our wedding with friends and family on June 19th, we will be commemorating September 19th, 2020 as our wedding anniversary, as it is the date we formally got married.

How will COVID impact your wedding?

Answer

It is still too early to tell exactly what impact COVID will have on the wedding day. Massachusetts is starting to lift restrictions on restaurants and allowing dance floors at weddings (this was written on March 1st), so we are hopeful that things will be much better by June 19th! However, we are all too aware that things change rapidly. We will communicate any necessary information about our wedding and COVID to our guests via email.

The invitation says "Adult Reception to Follow." Can you elaborate on your expectations around children attendees?

Answer

We both adore children and have many special kids in our lives. However, we are excited for our wedding reception to bring together the family and friends who have been so important to us to celebrate the beginning of our life together (and, hopefully, the end of a very hard era). Parents, please consider our wedding a "date night" for you to enjoy. We are happy to assist in coordinating child care during the wedding for those who would like to bring their children to Massachusetts.
