Finally!

So the first time I met Tyler, I did not like him, don’t ask me why. But the second time I met him out at our friend Gabbie’s house. We played ping pong and rock band and he really caught my attention. I ask Gabbie for his number and well she gave me the wrong number. He added me on Facebook down the road but nothing happend. Then I get a phone call from Gabbie asking if i wanted to join them for dinner at Red Robbin, I said “I don’t know Gabs I have play practice.” She came back with “Tyler asked about you.” I was sold I was going, met them at Red Robin and we pretended it was Tyler’s birthday to get a free treat. Pretty much the rest was history and we started to hangout and 3 months later ask me to be his girlfriend.

This is where it gets emotional. My mom passed away March 16th, 2019 we did not do a funeral. We waited in May to do a Celebration of Life for her, because thats what she wanted. At the end of my mom’s celebration at the Waters we gathered up stair on the deck to take family pictures. Started taking pictures and in the middle of everything Tyler starts talking and I could see in the corner of my eye Tyler was fiddling in his left pocket. I still couldn’t process of what was going on till the end. I said “Oh Shit” everyone started to laugh and say “Katie!” Then Tyler got down on one knee and proposed!
