Barton Springs

Cool off at Barton Springs, Austin’s famous natural spring-fed pool in Zilker Park. The water stays a refreshing 68 degrees year-round, making it the perfect spot for a sunny afternoon swim or some laid-back people-watching on the lawn.

Blanton Museum of Art

Located on the UT Austin campus, the Blanton Museum is a great stop for art lovers or anyone looking to beat the Texas heat for a bit. It features an impressive mix of modern and classic works, plus the striking “Austin” installation - a colorful, light-filled building that’s become one of the city’s most Instagram-worthy spots.

Mueller Lake Park

We love this park! You can walk around the lake, see a movie at Alamo Drafthouse, and have a good meal/drink at any of the nearby restaurants.
