We have done some traveling around the US and our favorite activity to do is visit each state's most well known Aquarium. This one does not disappoint! When done browsing through the Aquarium, there are multiple famous restaurants along Alaskan Way we would encourage you to check out.
A classic tourist attraction for every new visitor to Seattle. Eclectic, vibrant, and varied, this is the largest alliance of small businesses across Seattle. From typical tourist merch to fresh catches of fish to flowers to restaurants, this location has it all. We personally find this location to be a much better representative of Starbucks rather than the famous "Original Starbucks". If full, we recommend walking just across the street to McMenamins Six Arms Bar. The appetizer selection is, our my personal opinion, better than any fine dining appetizers out there.
Another personal favorite restaurant that we love to introduce friends and family to. Perfect for a rainy day, this restaurant provides the coziest food and an experience complete with a server noodle dance and cute robots to deliver your food! It is located in Pacific Place Mall and will require parking within the Parking Garage. Where Rynn said "I do!" Our favorite restaurant in Seattle for very special occasions, this elegant, chic, (expensive), and modern restaurant has been in the business since 1950 and perfected its craft in cuisine and service. You'll need a reservation ahead of time to check out this place, so keep that in mind! PS: It does require a reservation with $100 deposit per person
This has great views of the city! Note: It can get expensive. Another option that comes highly recommended is The Nest (The Rooftop at Thompson Seattle, 110 Steward Street, Seattle, WA, https://www.thenestseattle.com/)
This is a SUPER pretty drive with 3-4 waterfalls - definitely worth checking out if you have time while you're visiting (and with a car)!
This place is such a staple location with loads to check out! There's Beecher's Cheese, Fish Market (known for their fish throwing), Pike Place Chowder (listed below), and the Gum Wall - just to name a few.
