Where do we stay for the wedding?

Answer

We would love all our guests to stay in Haig Point with us! We have a house block of houses and are working closely with each couple/group to find the perfect house for you. Stay tuned on your housing options!

How do we get to Daufuskie?

Answer

To get to Daufuskie you must take a ferry. There are no cars on the island. There is an embarkation center listed in our "travel" section of the website. All Ferry rides are included for wedding guests and when you arrive at the Ferry you can get a ticket in the house at the embarkation center. Please note the last Ferry of the day leaving Hilton Head to Haig Point is at 11:40p at night.

What are our COVID protocols?

Answer

We will be requiring everyone to send negative covid tests within 48 hours of our ceremony on Friday. If you have the vaccine this will suffice. Please stay tuned for more details on this!

How do we get around on the island?

Answer

Every house within Haig Point (which is the gated community we will all be staying at) comes with a golf cart. If your house is big enough and you need multiple golf carts, you can rent additional golf carts for $50/day.

What is the plan for Saturday- June 12th?

Answer

We are so excited to continue to celebrate with all of you on Saturday! Our vision for Saturday is to allow everyone to enjoy their day how they would like. Activities include: Pool, beach, golfing, fishing. The Madden family is throwing a Saturday evening Dinner at the Calibougie club for all wedding guests!

Where can we eat on Daufuskie?

Breakfast- Golf Club House Lunch- Golf Club House & Calibouge Club poolside Dinner + Lunch- Daufuskie Crab Company (located outside of Haig Point) Dinner will be provided for all of our guests on Saturday night!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your weekend off!
