Katie is my soul sister, roommate for 4 years and best friend. Some have confused us as twins I can only assume because we both have red hair. It sometimes feels like she knows me better than I know myself. Katie is honest, loyal, and so incredibly fun to be around. Katie and I truly grew up together; experiencing the joys and hardships of college. A lot of my favorite memories with Katie include me embarrassing myself so I am not going to say any of them on here. I couldn't think of anyone better to stand by my side as my MOH.

Eric Winenger

Best Man

Eric is my identical twin. There is so much that could be said about our relationship, but most of all, Eric is steadfast. He has and always will be my friend, confidant, and supporter. As kids, Eric and I would do everything together including the classic twin stuff, like switching classes without anyone noticing. As adults, we have spent so much time strengthening each other from afar. I am so proud of Eric for accomplishing one of his dreams of attending the University of Notre Dame and for his military service. I have been consistently inspired by him to pursue my own dreams and never settle for lesser things because they are easy. I'm so thankful for the relationship that we have and to have him stand next to me as I marry my best friend.

Abigail Boone

Abigail and I have been friends for the past 3 years. Both of us were involved in Student Mobilization as students and then got to be on staff with StuMo together for a year. Abigail is a great question-asker, intentional with all her friends, chill, and so so cool. I have learned so much from Abigail including how to correctly road bike. Abigail and I spent a lot of time in college together going to concerts, eating at Slims, and hanging at her sorority house. I am thankful for the ways that Abigail knows me well and pushes me to know Christ well. Get ready for Abigail's dance moves at the reception; she is the life of the party.

Brad Hough

I was the best man at Brad's wedding and the way I described our friendship was comparable to that of David and Jonathan from 1 Samuel 18. Brad and I have a very special friendship that has been mutually encouraging, strengthening, and life giving. Brad and I actually found out that we were from the same home town and attended the same youth group functions years before we were ever roommates, but we never had met. It wasn't until we started leading together at youth group that we became close friends. Brad and his wife Jami, Adam Delaplane and his wife Jessy and I were nearly inseparable for a number of years before we all started our journey's to seminary. Brad will forever be a friend to me that I love and cherish.

Madde Mauck

Madde is a dear dear friend! She celebrates her friends so well. Fun fact: Madde and I shared a king sized bed with Abigail for 9 weeks over a summer, so obviously we are very close. Madde loves people well and is a friend I always turn to for advice and wisdom. Madde and I became friends also through the campus ministry I was involved in, in college. Madde is all about Harry Potter, reaching the lost with the gospel, and world missions. Some of my favorite memories from college involve Madde. I am so excited to have Madde be a part of Matt and I's big day.

Nick Dodge

Nick and I were roommates in college along with a couple other groomsmen in a house we called the Humble Abrode. Nick and I are very different people, but have helped each other grow in ways that we have both benefitted greatly from. I remember Nick initiating many impromptu prayer nights at the house. He can easily be defined by his intentionality and humility. Later, Nick and I have done quite a bit of traveling together and I was privileged to be a part of his wedding last year. It is a joy that he be part of Kat and I's big day.

Olivia Rich

Originally known as Olivia Thom and to this day I often say her maiden name, on accident of course. Olivia is a steadfast and loyal friend. We met freshman year of college at an event with a campus ministry and instantly became close friends. Some of my favorite moments with Liv include our car rides to and from Fayetteville from St. Louis, dancing to "Hot Cheetos and Taki's", late night singing in our apartment, and the sweetest by far getting to stand by her side as she married her husband. I cherish all the memories I have with this dear friend.

Zach Hanje

Zach and I were also roommates at the Abrode and is a brother for life! Zach and I were practically attached at the hip for years in college. Some of my most prominent memories with Zach were from Saturday morning "Coffee and Theology" that we hosted at the Abrode for years. Zach and I helped each other clarify what we believed about our Christian faith during those formative years. We also played music together routinely, him on the guitar and me on the piano. I'm so grateful to have a friend like Zach and that he will be able to stand with me to celebrate what God has done for Kat and I.

Emily Williams

If you haven't met Emily you are missing out!! She is my consistent, energetic friend. Emily and I became friends my sophomore year of college and her freshman year when she joined my sorority. We quickly became close friends and I had the greatest privilege ever to get to lead Em spiritually in college. Emily taught me so much in college and she continues to do so today. She loves all people so well. Some of my favorite memories with Em include living in a one bedroom condo with 5 people for 9 weeks, visits to the Grand Canyon, and STL hangouts.

Vince Ferry

Vince was also a roommate from the Abrode. Vince has been such a sweet friend to me. He is such a cool guy! Vince and I would frequently play disc golf together and, when we would throw parties at the house, he was always my partner in welcoming people to our home. Vince is a leader! He is such a fun guy to spend time with and is so easy to talk to. His love for the Lord and loyalty to his friends has been such a gift to me as we have grown together. I am so blessed to have a friend like Vince.

Valeria Edwards

The first time I met Val I was sitting in a dorm room in college and couldn't quite figure out why this girl who just graduated from college that I didn't know was talking to me. However, I quickly learned that Val is someone you want to be friends with. Val led me spiritually in college and has become one of my best friends. I have learned from Val what it looks like to live boldly for Jesus, how to pursue godly relationships, what it looks like to make disciples on the college campus, and how to walk with God deeply in college. Val and I both have a love for similar hobbies which includes fashion, health & fitness. Forever thankful for the impact Val has made on my life as my friend, mentor, and team member.

Ben Easley

According to some, Ben is my doppelgänger and spirit animal. We do share many similar features and interests and it has always been so easy to spend time with him. Ben was another of my roommates at the Abrode and we spent so much time walking around Muncie, IN and enjoying craft beer. He was a frequent partner of mine in late night conversations and jam sessions with Zach Hanje and other friends. So thankful for this brother of mine!

Hayden Fox

Hayden Fox and I became friends her freshman year of college when she joined my sorority and was in my D-Group at a summer project with Student Mobilization. Hayden is all about God, people, fashion, & Chick Fil A. I had the privilege of getting to lead Hayden spiritually in college and it was so fun. Hayden is teachable, humble, and desires deeply to make God known in our sorority. Hayden is a consistent friend who is a great listener and question-asker. No matter who you are you will feel known and cared for by Hayden. I am so thankful to get have her stand by my side as Matt and I get married.

Adam Delaplane

Adam and I have worked together in youth ministry for almost a decade. It is not a stretch to say that he has been one of the most consistent and informative relationships in my life. He and his wife Jessy will always be close friends and mentors to me. It has been such a joy to be reunited in St. Louis for seminary and working together at CPC. I love their family so much and am so thankful to have Adam standing with Kat and I on our wedding day.

Megan Chisholm

Megan is my built-in best friend & cousin. Megan and I for our whole lives have done a lot together. We had matching haircuts, matching clothes, danced together, and pretty much hung out every day together as kids. I think that our parents just wanted us to look like twins haha. Megan is hard-working, loyal, and an amazing encourager. Some of my favorite memories with Megan include trying out new coffee shops, our European trips, and bike rides in Grayton. The best part is that Megan had a big role in Matt and I starting to date and for that I am forever so so thankful!!

Jason VanDeraa

There was never a time when Jason and I were not going to be roommates. As soon as I arrived at Chesterfield Pres. our pastor had set us up to live together. It has been such a blessing to have this friend and I am so thankful for the role that he and Megan played in bringing Kat and I together. Jason is a goof ball and is one of the most flexible people I know. We have spent way too much time just dancing like idiots and doing impressions. He is such a good friend and I'm so thankful to have him stand with us.

Megan Taylor

Meg and I have been friends since freshman year of college, but were facebook friends a year before that (got to love random friend requests when trying to find a freshman year roommate). Megan and I were both nursing majors so for all of college we had all our classes together. We were also roommates for a year! Megan is optimistic, encouraging, fun, and always helped me to calm down when I felt overwhelmed by school. My favorite memory so far in our friendship was getting to stand by Meg the day she married her husband, Blake and I cannot wait for her to be part of Matt & I's big day too!!!

Nick Boyum

Nick and I were friends in college, but it wasn't until after college that we grew close like we are now. It was after years of being in different countries that we met up in India, along with Nick Dodge and some other friends, that our friendship started to grow into what it is today. We still joke about being on an Indian train singing American R&B and laughing hysterically. I am truly blessed to have the friends that I do and I'm glad Nick will be with us on our big day.
