Wrightsville Beach is a wonderful spot to relax during your stay. Guests can enjoy the beach as well as the small downtown area, which features shops, ice cream, and restaurants. Keep in mind that it's a small island, so parking may be limited, especially on weekends and during peak beach hours.

The weekend of our wedding coincides with Wilmington's annual Azalea Festival, one of the city's most popular events. While most festival activities take place in downtown Wilmington, we recommend booking accommodations, dining reservations, and transportation plans in advance, as hotels, Airbnbs, restaurants, and parking may be busier than usual.
Enjoy downtown Wilmington and the riverwalk for food, shops, and a good time. There are a ton of great restaurants to choose from! Reminder that the Azalea Festival parade will be occurring downtown Saturday and Sunday.
