While snow should not result in road closures this late in May, expect cold temperatures and the presence of winter weather while in the Park, and dress accordingly.

About 45 minutes from Fort Collins and nestled in the foothills of Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes is a beautiful mountain town representing the best Colorado has to offer. Whether you enjoy hiking, exploring boutique shops, or exploring famous film locations, Estes Park hosts a myriad of activities that make it well worth a day trip.
The Gardens on Spring Creek
The Gardens at Spring Creek hosts 18 acres of botanical gardens as well as a butterfly pavilion. The Garden does charge per entry, with tickets ranging from $6-10, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
