Joymongers started in Greensboro, NC, but added a barrel hall in Winston where they age some of their most popular beers in fresh bourbon and wine barrels. Beers are constantly changing and served in a 90-year-old renovated garage!

Wise Man Brewing & Coffee Bar

Reynolda House Museum of American Art

Learn the history of a family central to Winston's history. Completed in 1917, Reynolda House was originally the home of Katharine Smith and R.J. Reynolds, founder of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco. The 64-room historic house displays thousands of historic objects and a collection of renowned American art.

Kaleideum

Kaleideum is more than a children's museum, it's learning reimagined. In 2016, The Children's Museum merged with SciWorks—eventually leading to the 2024 opening of its new downtown Winston location. The reimagined Kaleideum has four floors of exhibitions, a Digital Dome, a makerspace, and a killer rooftop playground. They even host a monthly Kaleideum After Dark for those who want to indulge in the fun without any kids around.
