Is there a dress code?

Answer

In honor of the running of the 151st Kentucky Derby falling along side our special day, we request you dress in your semi-formal derby best. Fun hats and bright colors are highly suggested!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding however we are only able to invite the children of our immediate families. We thank you for understanding in advance.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party and immediate family will be taking pictures. Guests are welcome to pass the time at Poverty Knob, Port Farms Brewery until 4:00pm when the doors to cocktail hour in the reception space will open. The brewery is located at the same address as our reception. Of note, the brewery will be open to the public at this time.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 2:00pm sharp. To not only respect us, but the Church, we kindly request you arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to 2:00pm. Late arrivals will disrupt the mass service.

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged! We request that you take in every moment as we become one with your eyes and not your screen. We are more than happy to provide you with pictures from our photographer as soon as we recieve them!
