This love story took a few tries before truly blossoming. Our paths crossed three times before destiny brought us together. Our first encounter was at Kathryn’s brother’s graduation—just a brief exchange in the midst of celebration. The second meeting was at Souperbowl, where we shared what could be called our "first dance." While it wasn’t a fairytale moment (Kathryn might say the dance left much to be desired), it was memorable nonetheless. But the third encounter changed everything. Reuniting at Jovan’s 21st birthday dinner in Boston, Jovan finally mustered the courage to ask Kathryn out. Thirteen years later, here we are—laughing, growing, and preparing to say "I do" this September. Sometimes love takes its time... and a few charmingly awkward dances.
