Joseph and I met on Tinder, both on there just to see and what we found were each other. Our first date was at the Tucson Botanical Garden, it was not what we expected, so we went to the park and walked around. We got to know each other and then went to lunch at In-N-Out. We had our lunch in the back corner by the soda fountain. We would have lunch in that spot as much as possible.
On December 11th, 2021 I took Joseph on a date. I had reserved a spot for a massage, which was wonderful. We then went to dinner at one of our favorite spots, Mambo Italiano and then we went to the top of the neighborhood to see the Christmas lights. We could see lights all over town from up there and we saw shooting stars during a meteor shower too. The most beautiful night ever! That night he got down on one knee and asked me the most important question ever, "Will you take this adventure with me, and Marry me?" I said Yes! and the rest is our adventurous history.
We both went to the University of Arizona, he a year older than me. But we met on campus almost everyday, and when we had classes near each other we had lunch on campus. He got Papa Johns and I got Chick-Fil-A, he's not a big fan of their food. That's okay we have our own foods and are happy to just be together. We had some of the happiest moments going around Tucson on these fantastic dates, showing me new things, scaring me along the way a few times. But always being there for me when I needed him most and I being there for him. He graduated on May 11th, 2019 and he left September 8th 2019. He moved to Steamboat Springs, CO to work at ACZ Labs. A year away from each other was a hardest thing we've done. But he did an amazing thing, he went out and found his place in the world. I graduated on May 15th, 2020 and I immediately started looking into education jobs in Steamboat, I left for my adventure on August 22nd, 2020. I followed him and worked hard to be with him every step of the way, as well as finding my way and what I love the most. My job, my friends but most importantly the love of my life, Joseph. We've been living in Steamboat ever since, having many laughs and cries, and many memorable moments that we will never forget. We both say we can't live without each other, we love each other everyday with every fiber in our bodies.
