When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please submit a "Soft RSVP" on this website and book on-site lodging as soon as you know you can make it - we have a lodging block at AOTG until March 15th then on-site lodging will become open to the public. Consider this a "Soft RSVP" as we will be sending final RSVPs for each event closer to the wedding weekend. Please Soft RSVP by March 15th.

What to do in New River Gorge, West Virginia?

We’re so excited for you to join us in West Virginia during one of the most beautiful times of year. September in the New River Gorge brings warm days, cool evenings, and early hints of fall color. If you have time to make a weekend of it, outside of exploring the AOTG resort, we recommend hiking or scenic drives through New River Gorge National Park, whitewater rafting on the New River, or walking across the iconic New River Gorge Bridge. Nearby Fayetteville has great local restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques, and outdoor lovers will also find no shortage of adventures at Adventures on the Gorge—from kayaking and rock climbing to ziplining and trail walks. You will be able to add on an activity to your reservation when booking.

AOTG Refund Policy
Answer
In case of an unexpected emergency, AOTG offers Trip Cancellation Protection (TCP) and a tiered refund policy which differs from traditional hotel policies: Regardless of TCP, cancellations within 3 days of the start date or no-shows on the day of a trip will not be considered for any reimbursement. For those with TCP, all cancellations must be made more than 3 days prior to the trip start date to be considered for reimbursement less the TCP fee (6%). For those without TCP, all cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the trip start date receive a refund less $25 per person per activity and $25 per person for non-deluxe lodging ($50 for deluxe lodging). All cancellations 3 - 29 days prior to the trip start date receive a raincheck less $25 per person per activity and $25 per person for non-deluxe lodging ($50 for deluxe lodging).
