We met studying abroad through OU's Business College (BOOMER!) in Vichy, France in the summer of 2016. Jack was the first person I saw when I got to our gate. I immediately thought he was cute (I guess it was the iconic man bun). I confided in someone else on the trip that I thought Jack was cute, and he found out, and immediately pursued me! We spent the entire month traveling and getting to know each other and the last night there he asked me to be his girlfriend. We were coincidentally both majoring in accounting and living in the same complex, and the rest is history!

Jack and I had planned a trip to Seattle in September 2021. We arrived Thursday, September 2, and immediately went to Kerry Park to watch the sunset. While we were sitting on a bench taking in the views, Jack got down on one knee. My first words were "are you serious?!?" and after a few seconds of total shock, I said yes probably 5 times. It was a perfect moment for the two of us.
