What time should I arrive for the celebration?

Answer

The celebration will start at 2:00 pm, please plan to arrive 30 minutes beforehand but not before 1:00 pm

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It will be indoors, however, it is December in Scotland, we recommend bringing proper winter attire. Temperatures are roughly 7°C - 1°C (45°F - 34°F)

What is the dress code for the celebration?

Formal attire is recommended. We have no feelings on what colours you wear & suggest you wear whatever you feel confident in!

Traveling Internationally: Cell Phone Reception

Answer

Consult with your phone carrier prior to traveling to the UK to determine international options for coverage. One option could include purchasing an E-SIM to give temporary international coverage. WIFI is generally available inside of buildings.

Do I need a visa to travel to Scotland from outside the UK?

Answer

Yes! All non-UK citizens require an ETA Visa to travel to Scotland / UK. Visit the website below to apply, it does not cost more than £16 (do not use a third party, as they over-charge). We recommend applying at least a month before travel. https://www.gov.uk/eta/apply

Strongly recommend bringing a second pair of comfortable shoes for the Ceilidh Dancing

Yep! If you’d rather not drive, you can book a ride with City Cabs at +44 131 228 1211. We definitely recommend scheduling ahead of time, especially for rides home at the end of the night.
