This story could definitely be described as the closest thing to a real life Hallmark movie. Kathryn was back in North Dakota for a family event when she met Easton in a bar called Sports on Tap. Between his misguided pool playing, crazy dance moves and a little bit of liquid courage, they hit it off almost immediately. She eventually had to go back to California but they kept in touch. After a couple of months Easton made the jump to move to California to be with Kathryn and the rest was history. With the help of his mom, he proposed to Kathryn on Saint Patrick’s day weekend in Las Vegas with his grandma’s ring!

Due to the astronomical cost of weddings these days we have decided to have a wedding on Kathryn’s father’s land in Alaska. That being said, if you would still like to be involved, but can’t make it up, we would love it if you would write us a letter or email with a favorite story of the bride and/or groom, a piece of advice, or an old photo of their shenanigans.
