Solaz Resort

Solaz is the main hotel for our wedding weekend, hosting the Friday Welcome Party and serving as a central gathering place for guests to relax and enjoy the pool, beach and amenities (there’s an artifacts museum too!). We recommend arriving Thursday to unwind, reconnect, and settle in before the festivities begin. We have reserved a block of rooms from November 6th–9th, with the group rate also available three days before and after (November 3rd–12th), subject to availability. Plunge Pool Room: $654 USD + taxes & fees *Additional room/suite categories available with group rate as well—please inquire with reservations. Solaz allows up to 4 guests per room for one-bedroom rooms and suites (no additional cost per person); however, to accommodate 4 people, you must book a two-queen bed room rather than a one-king bed room. For guests staying elsewhere, Solaz will allow entry for the Welcome Party on Friday, but access to resort pools and other amenities will not be available throughout the weekend. ✈️ Airport Transportation

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is about a 25–30 minute drive to the Tourist Corridor, where Solaz and nearby hotels are located. ***We recommend using our partnered shuttle for smooth, reliable airport transfers. Note: Uber cannot pick up at the airport due to local regulations, but it can drop off when departing. To book your scheduled ride: 1. Click “VIEW” below 2. Select “Book Your Transfer” 3. Enter coupon code kathrynanddaniel to apply your discount. Important Notes: • Discount is only available for online bookings • You’ll receive a confirmation email with detailed airport pickup instructions • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance 🚐 Shuttle Vehicle Options: • Luxury SUV (seats up to 6) • Van (seats up to 10) • Sprinter (seats up to 15) If you’re traveling with others or arriving around the same time, we recommend coordinating and sharing a ride to split the cost! ⸻ 🚘 Uber & Taxis Uber is available in Los Cabos, but cannot officially pick up at the airport due to local regulations. Some drivers may offer pickup at the departures level, but it’s not guaranteed. ✅ Uber can drop you off at the airport when departing. 🚫 Lyft is not available in Cabo. Taxis are available at the airport but can be expensive (typically $80–100+ USD one way). Always confirm the fare before you get in. ⸻ ⚠️ Quick Tip After clearing customs, you’ll walk through a room full of people offering “help” — these are timeshare reps. Keep walking until you’re outside to meet your driver or shuttle!
