We met over facetime when I was hanging out with a mutual friend of ours. He called her for about 5 minutes and after hanging up, offered to be my date to my own prom. Lucky for him I needed one and figured I'd take him up on his offer. I thought at the very least it would be a weird adventure and at the very best maybe something would work out for a couple months or so. I thought I'd give it a try and alas here we are... 9 years and 1 day after junior prom, we're getting married 💕

We were coming up on 7 years and a new step was on both our minds. However, finding the perfect ring to match the uniqueness of its owner took longer than expected. After finding the rock it was on to planning the proposal and what better scene than Christmas time in center city. It was all set up, the rink booked, the song picked, photographer set, ring in pocket, and all that was left was to get Kathryn on the ice.... which she wanted no part of... reluctantly we finally made it to center ice and the rest is history!! ^^ I feel like I just need to add on I do like ice skating I just was excited to walk around -Kat
