Wedding Party

Christopher Miller

Groom

If you’re looking for Christopher, you’ll have to check the classroom, the woods, or the mats. He can serenade you on the piano and guitar, cook a 5-star meal, and still find time to spoil his dog, Ajax. While Christopher can be calm, he is highly skilled in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, so we kindly ask that guests refrain from challenging the Groom to a take down because he would 100% say yes—we’d like to keep the tuxedo rental deposits intact! Christopher has officially updated his personal syllabus for the year—while he loves his students, he’s ready to trade the classroom for the altar and start the most important 'School Year' of his life with Kathryn.

Kathryn Tuttle

Bride

By day, Kathryn is a Credit Analyst at Lake City Bank, where she spends her time analyzing risks and balancing spreadsheets, but by night, she swaps her calculator for a piping bag. Though it remains a creative hobby rather than a full-on business, her cake decorating skills have already seen her through one friend’s wedding cake, with another on the horizon and her own masterpiece currently in the works. When she isn't covered in flour or assessing commercial portfolios, she’s usually found on the pickleball court beating Christopher or hanging out with her biggest claim to fame, Gracie the llama. Kathryn spends her career determining which deals make the cut, but she didn’t need a spreadsheet to know that marrying Christopher was a full approval with no conditions—it’s officially the most successful closing of her career!

Matthew Miller

Best Man

As the younger brother, Matthew’s role as Best Man was officially "hard-coded" into the family bylaws years ago when their older brother, Michael, established the Miller Brother Best Man Protocol. Growing up as "the littles" of the Miller family, he and Christopher forged a lifelong bond being ice cream sharing buddies and sticking together against the older brothers. Matthew is a professional at two things: writing complex code and trying to systematically dismantle his family during board game nights. He treats a game of Monopoly with the same intensity Christopher treats a Jiu Jitsu match, so consider this your warning: do not challenge him to Settlers of Catan unless you’re prepared for a very long night. After years of waiting for his turn in the "Best Man Rotation," he’s finally ready to execute his most important script yet.

Ashley Lent

Matron of Honor

Kathryn and Ashley met at Lake City Bank as fellow Credit Analysts and quickly realized they both had a high tolerance for two things: complex spreadsheets and each other’s non-stop talking. They were officially "bad influences" on one another when it came to office discipline. They made a daily habit of "forgetting" to pack a lunch just for an excuse to leave the desk, and Kathryn takes full credit for getting Ashley hooked on trips to The River coffee shop in Warsaw. If they weren't analyzing risk, they were definitely analyzing the seasonal latte menu. After reviewing the data, Kathryn has officially approved her for the lifetime role of Matron of Honor.

Michael Miller

Groomsman

As the eldest Miller brother, Michael didn’t just grow up with Christopher–he governed him. Michael is the mastermind behind the ‘Airsoft Firing Squad’ pact, the game ‘Grouch Couch’, and ‘Official Brother Best Man’ rule. Still programmed, the younger brothers still hold to these bylaws without question (mostly out of respect, partly for survival). When he isn’t providing technical support for the family, he and Christopher are usually locked in a tactical debrief about hunting, medieval siege tactics, or real-life Red Dawn. Their conversations are 20% brotherly catch-up, 80% detailed analysis of the movie Kingdom of Heaven. As his most loyal soldier, the excitable Christopher bypassed all approval processes, arriving at the hospital 5 minutes after delivery to meet his niece, Anna. After having mistaken him for the father, the horrified staff pronounced the title of ‘Best Uncle’ before the paperwork was even dry.

Winnie Kyandaluba

Bridesmaid

Winnie and Kathryn met at Grace College, where they bonded over the shared trauma of accounting classes—proving that nothing brings two people together like a ledger that won't balance. Originally from Zambia, Winnie is hands-down the funniest person in any room (a high-yield asset to any friendship). Their college years were defined by road trips to visit Winnie's friends at other schools and a near-perfect attendance record at Grace College basketball games. If you see Winnie and Kathryn on the dance floor at the reception, just know they’re basically doing a high-speed Zumba routine—it’s the only way they know how to liquidate the stress of those college exams.

Bryan Miller

Groomsman

While some people follow the seasons, Bryan follows the Blizzard menu. He and Christopher are firm believers that there is no temperature too cold for a Dairy Queen run—if the drive-thru is open, they are there. Bryan shares the family love for hunting, but he approaches it with a much better catering plan than Michael or Christopher. While Michael and Christopher are analyzing wind speeds and scent masking, Bryan is in the woods comfortably waiting for a deer to pass by while working his way through a box of Pop-Tarts. When he isn’t in a tree stand or a DQ line, you can find him at the ping pong table engaged in a high-stakes battle with Christopher.

Lindsay Smith

Bridesmaid

Lindsay started out as Kathryn’s accounting tutor, but they quickly realized that life is much more fun when you aren't staring at a balance sheet. They eventually went from "tutor and student" to roommates, and finally to "partners in crime" for a mystery trip to Arizona that they still talk about today. If there’s a pool nearby during a Warsaw summer, you’ll find Lindsay there. She is famously known for her signature belly flops—a move that is 0% aerodynamic but 100% legendary. Whether they were sweating it out in Zumba class or navigating the malls of Fort Wayne on a shopping spree, Lindsay has always been the "Life of the Party" and the best person to have in your corner (or your living room). Lindsay is the only person Kathryn knows who can explain a tax credit in the morning and execute a perfect poolside splash by noon. Kathryn couldn't imagine saying "I do" without her favorite travel buddy and former roommate by her side!

Ian Cockrell

Groomsman

Christopher and Ian’s friendship is a masterclass in the "slow-burn." They spent their early college days sitting at the same lunch table in near-total silence—proving that sometimes, proving that sometimes the best friendships are fueled by a quiet appreciation for weapons components manufactured on university property. Over time, they found their voices (and some protective gear) while playing for Purdue’s Hurling team. Nothing bonds two people like an elaborate ruse to convince family members that an ancient Irish stick sport is still relevant. After surviving Purdue and a stint as roommates, their friendship moved from the pitch to the tabletop. Today, Ian is a regular at the Miller house for D&D sessions, proving he’s just as good at battling dragons as he was at hurling. When they aren't deep in a campaign, you can find them on double dates, proving that some college friendships are built to last long after graduation.

Amslie Howett

Bridesmaid

Kathryn and Amslie’s friendship was forged in the trenches—specifically, the cornfields of Indiana. They met as summer field scouts, a job that involves a lot of heat, a lot of corn, and apparently, a lot of comedy. Between scouting rows, they spent their time filming TikToks and masterminding various pranks on Amslie’s brother, proving that you can find a best friend even in the middle of a literal "maize." When they weren't in the fields, they were logging miles on foot. Over the years, Kathryn didn’t just become Amslie’s friend; she became a permanent member of the Howett family. In fact, it’s a poorly kept secret that Kathryn has officially been dubbed the "favorite daughter" by Amslie’s dad—a title she wears with pride (and one that Amslie has mostly come to terms with). Their friendship eventually outgrew the cornfields. Kathryn even braved the trip to Chicago while Amslie was in grad school, trading the quiet rows of Indiana for the busy streets of downtown Chicago. Whether they are taking long summer walks to catch up or exploring the city skyline, Amslie has been a constant through every season of life.

Eric Wheatley

Groomsman

Eric and Christopher’s history goes back to their college days as roommates. Back then, Eric was famously "reluctant" to join in on the D&D sessions, likely preferring the reality of a tennis court over the fantasy of a dungeon. Fast forward to today, and the "character development" is complete: Eric is now a dedicated player, proving that even the most skeptical roommates can eventually be persuaded to roll for initiative. A skilled tennis player at heart, Eric recently showed his true versatility (and patience) by giving pickleball a chance. To make it a fair fight, he brought his wife, Cecelie, along to form a powerhouse doubles team. Whether he’s swinging a racket or a paddle, Eric is the guy you want on your side of the net—or your side of the adventuring party.

Anna Conant

Bridesmaid

Kathryn and Anna’s friendship began with a bold move. Despite barely knowing each other, Anna and her roommate invited Kathryn to Starbucks—a small gesture that turned into a lifelong bond. At the time, Kathryn was dealing with a "less-than-ideal" roommate situation, and Anna’s dorm room quickly became her designated "chill space" and sanctuary. Like many of the bridesmaids, Anna was a regular in the Zumba front row. However, they had a very specific post-workout recovery plan: a mandatory stop at Taco Bell for a Baja Blast. Because nothing says "health and wellness" like a neon blue soda after an hour of cardio. In their post-college rental house, the atmosphere was defined by music and faith. Anna, Kathryn, and their roommate Morgan were famous for their impromptu worship singalongs, often breaking into full three-part harmonies that filled the house. It wasn't just about the music; it was about the shared heart behind it.

Heath Shaner

Groomsman

If you’re looking for the origin of Heath and Christopher’s friendship, you’ll have to go back to a high school ‘Intro to Biblical Literature’ class that was—ironically—populated almost entirely by nonbelievers. Recognizing they were outnumbered, the two formed an alliance that evolved into eight years of mutual "bullying" toward the gospel. While many spend their weekends in the mall, this pair was most likely found directly outside Circle Center Mall, passionately expositing first-century Greek with unsuspecting Jehovah's Witnesses. Heath has since traded the street corners of Indiana for a pastoral role in Pennsylvania, where he applies his heart for Biblical Counseling to youth ministries. Like Christopher, he is currently navigating the rigorous MDiv program of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, proving that their shared history of evangelism was just the opening chapter. Whether they are strategizing for local outreach or analyzing patristics, Heath remains a high-yield partner in Christopher’s life—just don't expect him to end a phone call sooner than two hours.

Hannah Tuttle

Bridesmaid

As Kathryn’s younger sister, Hannah spent most of her childhood being the involuntary play-tester for Kathryn’s "creative" board game interpretations. She quickly learned that in the Tuttle household, the rules were made up and the points only mattered if Kathryn was winning. Hannah eventually escaped the tabletop tyranny to pursue Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Cincinnati, where she now analyzes data that (thankfully) follows the actual laws of science. While she’s currently busy in the lab, Kathryn will always remember her most prestigious role: her high school stint at Graeter’s, where she provided the only thing Kathryn loves more than winning—discounted S’mores ice cream.
