Where do we park?

Answer

A covered parking garage is situated just northeast of the hotel, on 8th Avenue between 56th and 57th streets. There are 30 reserved, covered spaces on the third floor exclusively for Stella hotel guests. Two surface lots are available across the street, one in the Scoops Ice Cream Parlor lot to the east and another in the free Lakeshore Parking lot just south of the hotel. These spots are ideal for guests attending the ballroom event. Additionally, there’s street parking right in front of the hotel and nearby, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. While there are posted street parking rules, these spots are free—just note that The Stella does not validate these.

We want everyone to have a fun and unforgettable night—but most importantly, a safe one. If you plan to drink, please don’t drive. We encourage all guests to use Uber, Lyft, or a taxi service. The Stella Hotel is located downtown with easy access to rideshare options. Let’s celebrate responsibly—your safety means everything to us!

What is the dress code?

Formal attire. For men, we suggest a suit and tie. For women, a long dress, a dressy cocktail dress, or an elegant pantsuit is appropriate. We can’t wait to see you looking your best as we celebrate together! Bonus points for comfy shoes so you can hit the dance floor with us!
