If you are going to rent a car, flying into one of the Chicago airports (O'Hare or Midway) is your best option. If you aren't renting a car, you have two options. You can fly into Chicago and take a Coach USA bus directly from the airport to South Bend. Or you can fly into the South Bend airport (usually more expensive, but worth it).
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
