This is where we'll be having our reception and other wedding weekend events. With an onsite restaurant and security, we highly recommend it as your home-base while you are in Mexico. It's less than a two-hour drive from San Diego and about 40 minutes from the cathedral where we are getting married. To book a room, you must dial +52, then 646-155-0151. Flight
San Diego International Aiport
The easiest way to access Ensenada from the U.S. is by flying in to San Diego and driving a rental car 1.5-2 hrs to where all the action will be taking place. Just make sure you insure the rental vehicle for international travel. You won't need your Passport to get into Mexico, but you will definitely need it to reenter the U.S., so please make sure yours is valid and secure throughout your trip. All car rental pick-ups and drop-offs for rental car companies serving San Diego International Airport occur at the Consolidated Rental Car Center. Free dedicated shuttle busses run continually to ferry customers between the airport terminals and the Rental Car Center. Not all rental companies allow customers to cross the border in a rental car. For this reason, we recommend Hertz, which does allow travel to Mexico and offers Mexican insurance at the counter for approximately $38/day.
