1200 Arapahoe Trail Woodland Park, CO 80863
Absolutely not. The elevation mixed with the season creates the perfect recipe for wildfires. Help protect Colorado (and your lungs) by leaving the lighters at home!
Our wedding venue is at 9500ft. We strongly recommend flying in a day or two before the wedding to get acclimated. Also, PLEASE make sure to drink plenty of water ahead of time and during your stay. One drink at altitude is equal to two at sea level so please partake responsibly. Lastly, prepare for any type of weather - hopefully there will be no snow in August, but hail, rain, and high winds are all within the realm of possible.
Event dress code is semi-formal or cocktail. Feel free to lean into the mountain-y vibes if you feel so inclined (please, no assless chaps). We recommend bringing a jacket as it can get cold at elevation in the evenings. You'll likely be walking in grass or on uneven ground so do some ankle strengthening exercises in preparation (*cough* Spencer)
Our short, mountainside ceremony will be standing room only (trust us, the view is worth it), so please wear comfortable shoes.
We cannot accommodate parking at the venue. It is a VRBO, so parking is limited and the mountain roads can be difficult to navigate in the dark. We will have a shuttle available for all guests to get to and from the venue. The shuttle will leave from the Woodland Country Lodge (more details are available in the travel tab).
We can only accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation due to limited venue space. We appreciate your understanding!
We love your kiddos, but due to venue restrictions and safety precautions, we cannot accommodate children on our wedding day. We appreciate your understanding!
