Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

No, please use the shuttles provided or you'll have to call a taxi. Uber and Lyft do not exist in Deadwood.

What the heck is mountain casual?

Answer

The wedding is in Black Hills Canyon so it may be hot during the ceremony and cool at night. Men - Slacks and a sports coat, or slacks and a button up. Women - A lovely sundress with a little cover-up for later in the evening. The venue is on grass so wedges, flats, or simply shoeless is HIGHLY encouraged.

Are children invited?

Answer

We LOVE your kids... especially KAT! Because the wedding venue does not have parking, and there is no way to safely shuttle your baby seats and boosters we kindly request you leave the kids with grandma, grandpa or those super cool aunts and uncles. It's for SAFETY! (and we want you to relax and have a good time!) ;)

Where shall we stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms set aside at Cadillac Jacks, however you are not required to stay there. There are MANY hotel options around Deadwood. Just keep in mind, the shuttle pick-up and drop-off location is out front of Cadillac Jacks.

Covid-19

Answer

We understand that this is a trying time for everyone so we want to inform you of the protocols we are taking during the wedding to ensure everyone's safety and health. Shuttle- The shuttle will be sanitized before and after each pick-up and drop-off. Food/Drinks- The staff will be wearing masks and gloves at all times when serving your meal. Sanitation stations - There will be ample amounts of sanitation wipes and hand sanitizer throughout the venue. Ceremony - The ceremony is outside and we encourage people to sit with their household. Reception - Our reception is under a tent and we have asked our rental company to remove or pin back the side walls to ensure proper airflow through the evening. Since we are in a backyard, you are free to step outside at any time to play games, dance, skip, or whatever strikes your fancy! Again, we completely understand if you are not able to attend due to the uncertainly of this horrible pandemic. We love you and appreciate your understanding.
